Enlarged adenoids – once again successfully treated without surgery

My daughter’s middle ear infections started when she began kindergarten at the age of four, in 2018.
From September until April, she had seven middle ear infections (even the slightest cold always ended this way), which means that on average she had one every month. These episodes involved severe pain and a long recovery process (full recovery took about three weeks each time). I took her to several ENT specialists, and without exception, all of them wanted to remove her adenoids, despite the fact that after recovery there was no hearing damage and no visible trace of the inflammations. We had almost started considering surgery ourselves, simply to put an end to the pain and the repeated medication treatments.
In April we learned about the treatment methods of Dr. Henrik Szőke, made an appointment, and visited him once a month for check-ups over the course of a year. The effect of his treatment instructions (which are actually quite manageable even for a small child) could already be noticed during the very next earache episode. This is truly no exaggeration — even I could hardly believe what I was seeing!
The end result: within one year, colds either no longer caused ear pain at all or only very rarely. In fact, for the past nine months there has not been a single middle ear infection. If ear pain does occur occasionally, according to my daughter it is only “bearable pain” lasting half a day or one day at most. She has not taken any medication for an entire year.
I wholeheartedly recommend this method to every parent whose child struggles with ear infections. What I consider perhaps the most important is to follow the instructions consistently and strictly, even when the child does not feel like it — because then the results truly come.
Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Henrik Szőke!
