Livi and the P.E.A.N.U.T. Method

  • | Dr. Szőke Henrik

We would like to thank you for all the help you have given to our little daughter, Lívi.

Ever since she started kindergarten in September, we had been constantly struggling with upper respiratory problems (nasal congestion, coughing, ear infections), and before we met you, after two months we were completely exhausted and desperate because every doctor wanted to operate on Lívi. We read a lot about the subject and did not understand the reasons behind it, but we definitely did not agree to surgery because we did not find it justified. At the same time, we felt the situation had become unbearable, as the behaviour of our previously cheerful, open and curious little girl had changed significantly because, due to her ears, she could not perceive the world around her the way a healthy child normally would. The constant illnesses set her back completely; she was only a shadow of herself, and we could no longer stand by and watch it happen, but neither did we want to expose ourselves to the constant humiliation of doctors insisting that surgery was unavoidable.

That was when we turned to you and started using the P.E.A.N.U.T. method. It certainly requires attention and commitment from us as parents, but we are very happy to do it. Lívi even enjoyed the nose balloon exercises and the foot baths during the treatments; this time together also became an opportunity for connection. Her previous condition improved into a normal, manageable state, the whole family became calmer, and Lívi could finally be herself again.

We would also especially like to thank you for treating us as partners, because as parents we are the ones who see most clearly what is happening with our child. We could always share our observations with you, and we never experienced the exclusion and dismissal that parents so often receive from many doctors. As parents, it is a great relief to feel that our child is in good hands, that there is always a solution, that we should never give up or resign ourselves, and that we can always count on you.

With heartfelt gratitude:
